The O.C. Fic: Simple Gifts (Missing Scene Fic Challenge 2004)

T'was The Night Before Chrismukkah. Now this one was written quite late. I ate so many pear drops my throat froze up and I didn't get to bed until three am. I tried to write something slightly different in tone from Brief Encounter and I hope I've succeeded.
