The O.C. Fic: Utter
Jan. 3rd, 2007 08:58 pmThis story languished, half written and unloved on my laptop because I forgot completely about it through the summer.
My love affair with The O.C. has been well and truly rekindled and so I said to myself, "Self," I said, "It's time to shake and shimmy it off." Well, actually that's a Buffy quote but my heart is true.
So here's my little ficlet, finished, polished (but not by a beta, so mistakes are my own sad fault) the first I've written in this fandom, I think for a year, and I thought I would share.
Title: Utter
Fandom: The O.C.
Rating / Genre: PG-13, Gen
Words: 1115
Spoilers: Early season four.
Disclaimer/ Schmoopy Dedication: The O.C. is property of Fox. Written for
fredsmith518 for the Third OC Sentence Fic Challenge, who prompted me with "Ryan writes" and didn't hire a hitman when I never delivered. It's also for
ctoan, for much the same reason and to whom I miss a huge amount now that I can't msn at work. Last but not least, this is for
cheekymice who I love to actual pieces. Short as this is, I hope there's enough fic to go around.
Note: At this point, I realise I am actually abusing adverbs.
Summary: No matter where they are, your parents can still surprise you.
